I agree with your point of view, mainly because I feel that today, people often mistake their own free will and liberty as a mean to impose themselves unto the world rather than to allow for other's liberty and will to work together to improve society's parameters.
It's as you say, these points of view will conflict with the imposed mentality by most economical lobbies and pressure groups, and as people continue to allow that kind of imposition without critical analysis.
