well i'm glad i have a pc for this game. was just looking at video clips of the console version and boo at the camera view, and seems like will have to pause game like 100x more often than on PC due to less hotkeys available. oh and also the going through the radial thing like fable 2 is a pain too.

but i'm curious on what the console versions get for a review. I mean for a "RPG game of the decade" only getting a 94% on the PC. Wonder what an inferior console version will get. Yes I know they are identical in all story, content everything. But worse controls and huge battles monsters coming in waves and not all at once makes it inferior.

"inferior controls"....puh lease for the MOST of us (yes the consoles will heavily outsell the PC version) who will NEVER play the game on the PC won't even know how the controls are "inferior"

oh yea?  then how would you rate dragon age origins.  cause obviously you have played it to be able to say its worse than KOTOR.  

I try and not say so and so game is better than another until i have played them both.  I mean this game is made by same company as KOTOR and what 6 years later or whatever.  I like to think that they try and make better games each time.

As for ff13, well i have played baulder's gate 1 & 2, Kotor 1 (& 2, not bioware don't think), neverwinter nights 1 (& 2, again not sure if was bioware)  (but heck even still liked kotor 2 and nwn2 over most ff games, even though they were inferior to their earlier 1's.   and i have played most of the final fantasy games.  SO based on that I assume I will like Dragon Age Origins better than 13, just because I like that type of game better.  I'm sure I'll still love ff13, but i feel its safe to say I will prefer origins over 13. 

People say that they can be changed on the fly, but what about trophies.... I can't see any difficulty based achievements, so I think I should be fine

KOTOR3...
From what i've seen of the MMO game, it's something that looks and plays very much like the old KOTOR games except you can have a friend playing it with you at the same time and he affects the story as well. I was on the KOTOR bandwagon as well but the MMO really looks to be the sequel. You can play it totally single player if you want to.

Dragon Age...
I was already amped for this game. The worst game i've played from Bio-Ware was Jade Empire and I'd still rate that as a B+. Dragon Age is a confirmed buy for me.

I know I probably won't like it because DA: Origions is one of the only Bioware game I'm not intrested in. I looked forward to Jade Empire, KOTOR, Mass Effect, Baldur's gate, Baldur's Gate 2 and loved them all. Each one had me hyped before release. Each one had a draw that made me know I was gonna love it.

This game however... just doesn't seem to peek my intrests. Most of the disinterest comes from seeing the gameplay. Not my thing it seems, which is okay.

BTW, KOTOR 2 was made by Obsidian but it was still awesome to me.

Speaking of KOTOR 2, everyone who still has it for PC should check out The Restoration Project, it's beta has been already released and has expanded the game in almost all it's unreleased code content ;)

ha, you are just being stupid if you honestly think that the controls are better for the console versions.  I can understand if someone wants to say they like dual analog over pc mouse or wii mote (even though their wrong) but saying a game like this won't have inferior controls is just being dumb

have you seen the videos of this on pc and console.  The pc has a huge list of hotkeys for character on bottom screen and are assigned to buttons such as Fkeys so can push them or use mouse to push.  Whereass the console version has 6 button hotkeys, otherwise you have ot open up this radial thing like fable 2 and look for the thing you want to use.  If you seriously think they are equal in control style you are just stupid.  

and who knows what will sell most.  this is a very pc demograhpic type game, and might flop on the consoles.  the whole team play/pause moves and stuff are not well known on the console.  Its like halo wars.  first everyone knows pc rts controls way better, and then also its just not a console demographic game.  i bet at least 25% of the poepl who bought halo wars were pissed and wondering wtf is this, this isn't halo.

I don't want to knock the console version, because you should all get to play just like anyone else. but don't be sprouting nonsense shit about yours being better or same.   that is just being stupid
