Dreamcast. Actually is my favorite all time console.

I've only played the Genesis, but it had a lot of good games.

I loved the Genesis and Sega CD, but I vote for the Dreamcast. The system died way to soon and we never got to see what it's full potentential was. But for it's short time, it really had some innovative and high quality software.

The Sega Dreamcast is my favorite Sega console and the first Sega console I have ever purchased. Of course I bought DreamCast the month that Sega announced they were ending their hardware support for the console. I bought my DreamCast for 99$ and it is hands down one of my best console purchases!

The software library was really amazing. My favorite games EvolutionWorld 1,2 , PowerStone 1,2 Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure 1,2 made the DreamCast a must own platform and enabled it to hold its own in my opinion to even consoles like the X-Box. Other titles I loved were Sonic Shuffle, Fur Fighters, OogaBooga etc...etc... Now yes my favorite games EvolutionWorlds and Sonic Adventure series all came to GameCube my favorite console ever built. Now we have PowerStone on the PSP so my DreamCast is now in the closet gathering dust. But for its time it was my second favorite console!

Then the innovations were superb. Take for example the VMU, up untill DreamCast and ever since DreamCast we haven't had interactive memory cards. This feature made games like Sonic Shuffle unique in comparison to all the other platforms. I loved playing games on my VMU and loved using it in consoles.

Another innovation never seen on platforms till DreamCast would have to be an online network. For the first time people could go online and battle friends online. This was years ahead of its time as it wouldn't be till the X-Box that gamers truly took advantage of online multiplayer. Studios didn't really use the feature much but titles like PhantasyStarOnline really drove the industry forward.

Last innovation was Windows:XE. For the first time in console gaming you could install and OS and use a game console for multimedia purposes. You could play VCD movies another first for the industry (Watching movies on a gamesconsole). Making the DreamCast the first home entertainment platform, no other games console could do what the DreamCast could.

The Sega Saturn played also VCD movies. And the PS1 if you modded it.
