Forums - Sales - Boom Blox Bash Party was a MAJOR flop - we need to talk about it

@mrstickball: Lou Castle is your new boss?!? Dune II, Command & Conquer, The Legend of Kyrandia, Blade Runner, Lands of Lore...so many great memories (and their first success was of course Eye of the Beholder which I never played). Westwood Studios, my favorite 90s game company along with Bullfrog and LucasArts.

I can only hope that mrstickball is making things up. I don't want yet another Boom Blox game for the Wii. Not that I am forced to buy or play it, but its mere existence would still lower the enjoyment I have with the games I do play.

I think that mrstickball might be making things up.

Notice that no one, and I mean NO ONE, has talked about this game at all.  Also, I don't see many people sticking up for the game either.

Correct.

Lou is the new CEO of the company I work for. Fantastic, visionary guy. Lots of good things have been going on at the company since he became CEO. I'd love to tell you exactly what, but I can't. Sufficive to say that if half of the stuff goes through, you'll be hearing of IA a lot more over the next year or two.

Lou talked about the game. That's litterally the only person I know that's talked about it. It's just a funny coincidence that he talked about it, and there's a thread on VGC concerning it. I was totally unaware that VGC has Boom Blox tracked so low, so I was under the impression that it did well enough to not warrant too much discussion over it.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
