This is probably accurate.  Only other rumor I heard was that it is limited to 2 playlists for this Third Person mode.

The broadcaster was playing OFFLINE...this is not yet confirmed for ONLINE. 

Notice the CROSSHAIRS (for COD4 if it were spectator mode they aren't shown).

 

what do you think ? does this appeal to non-fps fans ?

Why would pulling the screen back from your character and showing it, rather than just the cross-hairs, make it more desirable than if you don't to those who don't play FPS?  It is like Gears and Halo don't have similar audience of players?

Its two new playlist, Third Person Cage Match and Third Person TDM. You don't have to play them if you don't like them.

If it was a TPS/FPS, wouldn't it be an advantage to play TPS (being able to see around corners)?
