I think this is a good move by Sony. They need to let people know that the PS3 is going to have GT5 and soon.

In my local Mall at the weekend the amount of 360's being sold with Forza 3 was noticeable.

I was in a game store and 4 elites were sold in the space of 20 mins.

Sony must raise the profile of GT5 to try and stem the inevitable Xmas tide of I want one from every car loving kid.

I take a break and come back and it is still possible to joke about when GT5 is coming out. Sony really needed this game a few years ago. I'm sure that GT5 is a better game for taking the extra production time, but I think it would have been smarter to release a GT5 that was a 2007 game. It would have helped the PS3 more and they could have gone back to work on an even better version with all the damage whistles and gongs for 2011. I think Forza is responsible for this misstep by Sony/Polyphony. Still, GT5 will probably be one of the few purchases I'll make for my PS3.

from GT5 is playable in UK mall to Forza 3 is (gonna pwn) again.

You aswell as MS seem scared of Gran Turismo. And seem intent on comparing Forza (which only exists because of gran turismo) with Gran Turismo at every opportunity. Gran Turismo 5 will still probably be the biggest selling HD game this gen. There's nothing MS or it's fans can do to  stop that.

Me scared of GT? Please, before you claim something like that, look up my post history. I'm one of the biggest GT defenders in this site :) My main Sony franchise is GT and i've been defending GT PSP and all the old GT from everyone who bad mouths them without knowing them properly ;)

Every Gran Turismo thread i go into on the net i see MS fanboys trolling the game. And also theres been lots of smacktalk from MS. Gran Turismo is the king of the hill, the biggest selling racing franchise of all time. Sony has yet to release a single complete Gran Turismo game since the Forza franchise started yet still the fanboys troll. Forza 3 will likely sell between 3 and 4 million copies. Gran Turismo 5 likely between 10 and 17 million. The trolling is desperation and fear of Gran Turismo.

It's going to be funny when the release of Gran Turismo 5 approaches because there's going to be a whirlwind of hype and i expect meltdowns galore from the xbox fraternity.

It's really my expectations for GT to be the best racing game ever, since I've been a fan of the series from the first game, and GT PSP is currently my most played game, along Dissidia :) I don't know why you think i'm a xbox fanboy, I'm far for being a fanboy of any console, I just like gaming, and gaming is all i'll ever going to do, I don't care in which console the good games come out, I just want to have good games to play.

Why wasn't Forza put in the title of this thread as well? Same as GT should be put in the title of every Forza thread. Can people really not talk about one game without mentioning the other.
