I think it' s early to say "gone out the window!". We have about FOUR positives rumors:

1) FireG;

2) Kamal;

3) German sites listing it for 2010

4) English codes in Japanese version

... and only ONE negative fact: this one!

i suppose there is a 5th positive, the developers or publisher namco bandai havent said that its NOT going to be released in the west either so maybe there is still hope. And they also added Sooo much more new featuers to the game to just release it in japan, just seems like a waste of time. i could just be trying to convince myself here but who knows.

I just stop hoping for it. Hopefully NIS or Atlus can take the game from Namco if they continue to be dumb about it.

Impossible! Namco has never left Tales of to other publishers, and it will never allow it.

Anyway the best we can hope for after this is that the Namco Bandai scum are doing the localization in house.

If I remember reading this correctly, someone has stated that the american box art of Tales of Vesperia has the tag of "Only on Xbox 360" on it. And thus, some have doubted that ToV PS3's localization to the US won't come.

But wasn't it the same with Enchanted Arms? If I remember correctly, the box art on Enchanted Arms said "Only on Xbox 360" but then ported onto the PS3 was it not? Please correct me if I'm wrong on this. ^ ^

Well, personally, I have no idea what to believe anymore. There's some good hints that it will be localized, but there's also some bad hints that it won't be localized.

We'll just see what the outcome shall be. Namco should just stop hating money and just bring it over.
