No console next gen will release at $300, except maybe a new Wii, mark my fucking words.

I mean, that's the launch price of the PS2, and it will be 12 years or so from it's release when PS4/X720 come out. Talk about inflation. One can do virtually nothing with $300 as far as (quality) electronics are concerned.

$300 seems to be the magic price point now......and the economy aint rebounding anytime before the next gen.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Step 1. Charge $249 preferably or at the very most $299. Make sure you make a profit on each console sale.

Step 2(a). Release it within a couple weeks of the next Xbox/Nintendo consoles.

Step 2(b). Worldwide simultaneous release. Don't fuck Europe again by having it out 6 months later in others.

Step 3. Great launch lineup. I'm thinking a Gran Turismo (6 or 7), A casual game like LBP, and a new IP by Insomniac or Naughty Dog would be EPIC!

Step 4. Use good advertising like they have been recently. None of those stupid commercials that came out earlier on.

Graphics are no longer a selling point. They've been good enough/edging on redundancy for a while now, so they need to find new strenghts.

What I can see is them getting politically lucky with other companies tiranying their way into this industry. If they can hold a solution to the likes of Apple and Microsoft treating gaming like tech ant colonies, then they will win by default IMO.

PLEASE give us a new controller! I'm trying to figure out if I can use my 360 controller on my PS3 cause I'm used to better now. Just alter the shape and switch the analog stick and DPAD. Is that so hard?

sony will re-use alot of stuff in the PS3 but just ad to it (for example 2 CELL's) by this time they would be cheap and the PS4 would be so powerfull
another thing is to not call it the PS4, to high a number so they need (Playstation ..........)(PS..) something really cool and smart like Apple did with the ipods (ipod nano) for example
hope people get what i mean lol
also need to launch at $300, £199, and 300/250 euro

If you get use to the PS3 controller you will prolly like it  a lot. The d-pad is great to navigate menu and option. I find myself using the analogue on the 360 to navigate menu and it doesnt work to well, also its not as conformtable for hours of playing.
