Now that they have the groundwork laid with Sky, I wish they would do this for DIrectv here in the states. Looks like a very nice option for you guys.

Directv is the largest Satellite based tv subscription provider here in the states with over 18 million customers. I think News Corp owns 51% of directv and that is owned by Murdock. So the 2 systems seem to be very similar and I don't think it would be really difficult to change the interface so that it works with Directv.

I have been a directv subscriber for a long time. I don't think there is a better alternative here in the states.

15 pound a month isnt to bad, but i wont be subscribing.

its ideal for already sky subscribers though.
