You guys are all wasting your time here.

Just check this topic by madkiller and tell me you don't regret it...

Have fun getting banned there buddy. That thread has nothing to do with this thread, is really old, and you just violated several forum rules. The entire purpose of your reply is a personal attack that is completely off-topic and has nothing to do with what we are talking about. Plus, sorry to tell you but what I said is completely true since PS3 is going to remain in last place this generation, period...

I feel a little disappointed with the sales but that's only because early data suggested that the game was over a million week one but the game should have legs and ND have already stated that Uncharted 3 is inevitable. Plus on the bright side the movie has been announced and the developers seem quite thrilled about it so things are looking good for the franchise right now. You also have to remember though that this is the 5th best PS3 opener ever so kudos to ND for making a great game and they deserve absolutely every sale they get and then some.

I couldnt agree more.

I just bought all of the bonus videos after my second playthough and theyre awesome and the people at ND deserve it.

I think most of our disappointment is only because ND deserve more sales and the game is so amazing that i dont think any number of purchases justify how awesome it is.

But strictly talking about number of sales, 5th best PS3 opener is nothing to be disappointed about in the grand scheme of things, especially when two of the games that beat it out were the first MG and GTA of the PS3.

Too bad all 4 of those that beat it did so with a much smaller userbase huh?

Yeah you really have to have the proper perspective on this. But it's pretty much said already that this game deserves more sales but 880K first week is good for a PS3 title. We aren't talking about 360 titles here or at least we weren't but in all fairness the game is awesome and it should have good legs.

I dont know. I guess not everyone buys a PS3 for the same games or genres. But since UC2 sold 6 times that of UC and the userbase didnt grow 6 times it says something about its growth, imo.

I don't know why you keep saying 880k, it sold 830k, that is a 50k difference in case you never took first grade math...

yeah blame madkilla for trolling like you do everyone who is just stating facts..... terrible facts but damned facts i'm probably the biggest ps3 fanboy you will ever meet... and i 100% agree with what he is saying.... ya'll people on vg need grow some fucking balls and learn how to accept truth, you must be just as mad as me that you can't disprove any of the shit because the numbers are there and they don't lie. whats going on with the ps3 is the biggest travesty in gaming history, because for the first time a console is literally trying to provide a truly magnificent experience and they are being neglected on every front for a generic ass multiplat

It is good to see at least one PS3 fanboy that gets the damn point. The PS3 exclusive sales are crap compared to both Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii exclusive sales. Anyone that says otherwise is just deluding themselves...

Yes dude i agree with you,the ps 3 exclusives dont get the sales they deserve because of Sony's marketing.

But upcoming exclusives might very well get some damn good monster sales, like FF XIV,GoW 3,GT5,M.A.G etc.

So its not over for Ps 3 exclusives yet.

And about Uncharted 2,the only reason it didnt get 1 million + first week,is because of the day release in the EU,it only had 2 days to fill up...

And when u look at  Drake's Fortune's first week sales,so many good games releasing, the franchise being so young...when it does that kind of number first week...u can see it clearly...it will be G.O.T.Y

Yep it actually is too bad. But you have to look at the sales spike it gave the PS3 also. This franchise is nowhere near as big as MGS or GTA or most of Nintendo's big first party titles but oh well lol, don't make such a big deal about it. There's a third coming out and movie coming out so how can anyone be dissapointed? The only thing that really dissapoints is what steverhcp has already stated and that is the game is so fantastic that it deserves more sales than it's getting.
