Awesomes, this is gonna rock.
Here's a important quote from good ol' Adam Smith:
"It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest."
Seriously though, ouch to the 360 TOV owners. That was a cruel joke.
I guess people are loosing some perspective here.
Those messeges were only intented to japanese Vesperia fans. I don't think they would write anything like it for european or american audiences. There are some cultural differences that we cannot completely understand. I guess that explains it.
Anyway, not that I think is fair, but I'm not ashamed to say that I enjoy the fact that the PS3 version is better. I hope the same happens with FF XIII. What am I saying, I wish FF Versus XIII to be a lot better than FF XIII.

Ding ding, finally we have a winner.
Considering that enhanced late ports are nothing new, especially for the Tales series (remember the GC to PS2 port of ToS?), the Japanese Tales and Star Ocean fanboys were foolish enough to buy a console for a single game that they assumed would remain exclusive. Namco and Square-Enix never said they will remain exclusive. They just used the BS "we have no plans for a PS3 port at this time" line (even though they're working on a port behind the scenes).
I also find it amusing that Microsoft is supposedly evil for giving out moneyhats when Sony did the same deal with Rockstar for GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas timed exclusivity (all three ended up getting ported to the Xbox with extras and enhancements as well. Funny, you never heard Xbox 1 owners call us PS2 owners beta testers even though it was very common for PS2 games to get ported to Xbox with enhancements). It's business. It's not the best for the fans but corporations don't operate on the basis of doing what's best for their fans. It is not from the benevolence of the video game developer that we expect our video games, but from their regard to their own interest. This is why fanboyism is irrational. There is no reason you should be loyal to a company that cares only about your wallet and not much else.
This is tooo funny with all these 360 owners whining. Get over it and get a PS3.

I think most of the people posting are PS3 owners throwing jabs and trolling like you. That game came out last August.... That was over 14 months ago and there hasn't been a date set for the Western version coming out. The only thing I am upset about is that Namco should have used the resources to make a ToV 2 instead. The 360 ToV was awesome and did not seem unfinished. If anything adding all this filler and letting you play Flint can ruin the story line IMO.

Why would they make a TOV 2 when then can sell more by porting TOV to the PS3. Once released in the west, it will easily outsell the 360 version LTD. If there is a TOV 2, it will likely be a PS3 exclusive.

I mean... 360 owners are whining about these comments when a little while ago ps3 owners were whinning about it being a 360 exclusive... 360 owners got the better end of the stick in my opinion. If it were multiplat from the begining like it should have been both games would have been the same. |
What are you talking about? I don't care if you are a PS3, 360 or Wii fanboy. What Namco did is a serious insult to 360 gamers. Microsoft basically funded the PS3 version of the game, so 360 owners should've received by default. They gave nothing. I am so glad I never bought it on the 360, but if I could punch the devs of Namco I would. That is truly bad form, especially when Sony didn't lay a finger to help them nor help fund their development.
