What if some of those 360 owners cannot afford PS3's even at its $299 price point and are stuck with the "beta-like" 360 versions of Namco and Tecmo titles? Why do I dislike Sony fanboys the most? Well, because they are the least empathetic to people who don't have PS3's (mainly 360 owners, but sometimes even Wii owners) and get screwed. How many 360 owners did you see telling PS3 owners to buy 360's when the 360 got the superior version of Fallout 3 and got DLC before PS3 owners? Seriously man.

Last time I checked Tales of Vesperia, Magna Carta 2 (Which I don't think will stay exclusive for long after the PS3 momentum picks up) Tekken 6, and Soul Calibur IV were all great games. Then we've got Dead to Rights, Eternal Sonata and Naruto: Ninja Storm coming. They are one of the top publishers. They've just made it abundantly clear that a person who paid well out of pocket to buy a 360 needs to pay more out of pocket to buy a PS3 in getting a decent Japanese made title. It's fucked up, but I am glad I have both systems in the end. It's so fucked up though, especially when Sony paid nothing and Microsoft did.

this is one thing you need to understand though, MS' money is not our money, in another perspective, you can say they are dicks for holding time exclusive rights because they want to play the same monopoly game that they have been doing in the computer world. it's nothing but shady business ethics and we as consumers shouldn't care about stuff like that and just go for the better version or more completed products when they become avaliable. if a customer already spent the money, the said individual simply got suckered in, and that's nobody's problem but his/her own, and then this individual needs to come up with a solution, mine was selling all my 360 stuff while I still was able to personally, I simply stopped giving a rat's ass about it after E3.

It matters not, Microsoft still funded the full version again, which means Namco should work out the man hours and get the fans the DLC. It's as simple as that. Microsofts consumers getting screwed only makes Microsoft look bad and naive as a company for shelling out so much money. Think about that.

most consumers won't know or care unless people are being big mouths about it, I personally think a DLC would be nice too, but guess what? PEOPLE WILL BITCH ANYWAYS! "we have to pay extra for the DLC, it should be free!" pretty much nothing on XBL is free and we both know that, no matter what they do, they'll get bitched at.

One thing I never understood is how the majority of Xbox Live gold owners seem to be content and PS3 owners bitch about paying for things. I feel bad for the day Sony puts a premium cost on PSN. Everyone knows PSN's free status was on account of the PS3's high price. Just wait until next gen LOL. 

and you can bet your ass that I won't be a part of it any longer if they do that, I'm done with having to pay for that kind of stuff when I can do it on PC for nothing and have everything better, I understand that not everybody is as fortunate to be as computer literate but like I said, life is not fair, knowledge will always get you more for giving out less =P PC gaming is here to stay, and not as bound to console changes unless you are a crazy person that buys new techs every few months.

I am quite computer literate, but I myself, enjoy the full entertainment feeling of gaming in front of my HD entertainment center. I just love it. I watch my movies and enjoy my games with full quality and I can get immersed in it. I was never able to immerse myself in games like PC. I guess it's just the TV, controller and surround sound effect. It completes me. If you enjoy PC more, then more power 2 ya. :)

I told people to get the PC version of Fallout3 personally because it's literally the best version but ah well, same thing with borderlands right now, I keep telling people to get the PC version, looks better, plays better, it can even create PDF files of weapons of your choice, console versions can't do that can they now? =P you want to be a serious gamer to the level of ridiculousness? create PDF files of your weapons from the game you are playing! kaboom!

my HDTV is my monitor my friend, all 47 inches of it hooked up via HDMI with a huge ass bean bag and 5.1 surround sound and my other consoles sitting next to it. bluetooth mouse and keyboard with a mouse stand right next to me lol.

I have a 360 and PS3 bought it when it came out because it was only on the 360, but im damn sure not buying it twice...in fact this reads like a big F*** You 360 owners but thanks for funding the real version. I've learned my lesson though...dont buy a Namco game for the first year if its only on one platform. Screwing the people who made your game enough of a success to start with.

He's referencing that the 360 gets a bunch of exclusive RPGs announced for it and Japanese gamers thinking that they have to buy a PS3 to play them.

We've seen that nearly every 360 JRPG from third parties has come to PS3.

Well since you put it that way it makes some sense, but he stated it in a arrogant manner. There is no 360 trap, because all Microsoft wanted to do was give quality Japanese titles to their consumers. This was all the devs fault because as I have to keep reiterating, Microsoft paid and should get every cent worth since these devs admitted to using Microsofts money to fund superior versions on Sony's system. The Japanese always talk about regret when not being able to give the 360 owners whats rightfully theirs. People around the world didn't know every third party game was going to have a superior version on the PS3, let alone be on the PS3 at all. Hell even the PS3 got a superior Ninja Gaiden 2 game.

On a side note, I have probably seen at least 1 360 owner for every multiplat released try to push people to get the multiplat on the 360 because it it the "definitive" version.
