Word of mouth will elevate the sales around christmas time. The economy is still weird, plus if parents these days are anything like my parents, the holidays were when I got my games, not during the fall when they'd come out.

There's your answer right there. Many PS3 owners are dual console owners. But in NA, the 360 usually comes first when it comes to games. The preorders alone are enough to know that MW2 is crack and people want and only want MW2.

the sells will definitely pick up its a perfect christmas present... if it had a cool ad on tv like halo 3 or gears it would have sold way better because the ads ive seen dont do the game any justice and are crap

What i wanna know is why did less people in Europe buy it than in NA. The first sold considerably more in Europe than NA.

I picked-up Demon's Souls instead of Uncharted 2 last week. At the end I should of bought Uncharted 2 because Demon's Souls is TOO hard for my dumb ass. I'm on a tight game budget for the remaining of the year with ODST, MW2(360), Demon's Souls, L4D2 and Tekken 6(PS3).  Just too much games for me to play.

and there's the friking problem, more ps3 owners will pass up a terrific game like uncharted 2 for mw2 when A. they can get both and B. they would rather have mw2. FACEPLAM FACEPLAM FACEPLAM

I didn't get it because I didn't like the first one.

+1 a lesser multiplat game in my opinion (I actually prefer Killzone or resistance over the gameplay in COD).
