"graduated"? There's a word for those that think HD systems are somehow that to the Wii, but it's no longer allowed here.

So I'll just say that's BS. It's not graduating. It's just going where things are offered. They should fucking offer more.

Rockstar puts a GTA game on the Wii, and not make it another top down game, it will sell.

Oh no doubt it would sell millions.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Yeah, show some ads like their other six 3D games, and I'd jump on it, and they might even get good flight controls instead of the awkward ways they've done it before.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

this is not right... I dont like how they want to (test) us wii owners for a core game... which makes me feel down right mad!!!!!! >:(

LOL I was stuck on the flight training in San Andreas for weeks! It was possibly the hardest mission in that game for me haha.

A Wii-exclusive GTA that stuck to the norm and looked around 1.33 times better than (Xbox1) GTA3 would make me go crazy. Insta-buy!

I'd say it's proof that publishers are done by people concerned with formulas and business models over making good games. Would the latter care about "testing" the market?

This game costs $50. This game failed. End of story.

Link's Crossbow Training is $20, and comes with the Zapper.
Umbrella Chronicles, HotD 2+3, Ghost Squad, and HotD Overkill are all under $20 by now.
Darkside Chronicles is just around the corner.
Or Medal of Honor Heroes 2, which has a full FPS game, with 32 player online multiplayer, AND a full on-rails game inside of it to boot. That game is cheap now too.

At this point why would anybody pay $50 for an on-rails game that's a prequel to a game on another system, and is "just a test"? The answer is just about 9,000 people. Maybe they shouldn't make tests, and maybe they shouldn't make prequels on other systems, and maybe they shouldn't make on-rails shooters. But insulting the Wii userbase isn't going to help them.

but look at the sales of rail shooters on wii

ghost squad 0.59
The House of the Dead: Overkill 0.40
The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return 1.09
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles 1.30

---------------------------------------------------------
= 3.38 million

RE:DC will probably bring it past 4 million

Resident Evil has a huge fanbase so its obvious that it will hit a million

House of the Dead was in the arcades, it was there a long ass time ago, more than 10 years? I would say its a pretty well known game. Resident Evil has also been around ages, we all know this game. But Dead Space is new, and its really not that popular a game to begin with. They expected a miracle, they got reality, what can I say.

{Edited}

I watched some deadspace and extraction videos on you tube, Deadspace looked way cool, it had atmostphere and way cool interface popups, it just looks amazing (the monsters still looks lame though), now strip that all away in Extraction. They failed and blame everyone else but themselves, great ...

"and maybe they shouldn't make prequels on other systems"

Unless it's San Andreas Stories.

I know. If it was Doom, I might have accepted that, since that's a known series.

Medal of Honor  2 has "thirty two" players online?  Really?  I did not know that (no sarcasm).  That is a pretty good sized community to have in a multiplayer game.   "Back on Topic"  I actually think that this game will have legs for some reason, remember  carnaval games sold alot as well and this game having a bigger name so to speak will probably sell better as the holidays approach.....give it time.
