I dont know but it seems like a big improvement. really, didnt the 360 come out around a year before the ps3? as far as I am concerned sony's next gen console came a year later than microsofts. to be as close to microsoft as sony is only goes to show that the 360 isn't as impressive as some would like to make it. i mean these threads that compare the two hd consoles is rediculous. money talks, and the wii has clearly been dominating this gen. the wii has always been less expensive than its competitors. um, is the wii a better condsole than the other two? nope. Yes the ps3 can catch the 360, but will it matter? doubtful. |
the thing is ps3 its trending away above 360. in the same time frame.
will it matter? no, but this kind of competition helps us the consumer.
u know xbox live may end up free next gen is sony manages to keep pushing further their service.

Highly unlikely. As long as MS has Halo people will pay for Live.
A more plausible outcome, Sony starts charging.
|
Its HIGHLY unlikely SONY will go from a free service to a charging service
I don't see that happening at all.

Right... you don't think Sony is taking notice to the billions MS is generating?
That could help cover the billions Sony has lost since the release of the PS3.

If you can be bothered to read below..
It will be interesting to find those "billions" from Live you are talking about.

This is not an anti-MS thing, it's an anti-I-make-up-my-facts thing.
The x360 division is actually losing a small amount of money each quarter since it turned a profit last year.
Live is generating money and without Live MS x360 division would be in a far worse situation.
This I think is not bad for MS considering where it is coming from.
