I find it dumb that people judge sexuality based on taste of music.

If people found out my true taste in music and judged me like that, I would be the next Perez Hilton.

Wait, heavy metal is gay?! That's news to me...

POp music in general isn't considered gay, but some artists are seen as gay-icons. Madonna is the quentessential gay-icon, as well as Lady Gaga, Elton John, Barbara Streisand, Mika etc. It's just that a lot of these icons are in pop-music.

Strangely the band I'd pick as gay-icons - Queen - has never really had that stigma. It's evidence of the awesomeness that is queen.
