umm...am I correct in assuming you meant "So basically you're saying it depends on any forum that is popular, PS3 fanboys rule over console forums." Not trying to be rude, but I just wanted to make sure I have your meaning correct.

Regardless, other 'popular' forums attract different audiences.  That is why they 'fanboyism' is geared in a different direction.

Or maybe your statement is saying that vgchartz.com is extremely popular and has a lot of PS3 users.  In that case I agree.

This is a site mainly for game sales, by your logic there would be the least ps3 fans here to avoid the fact that the ps3 is in third place and there should be the most wii fans because it's far ahead of the other two.

They rule over all of the most popular gaming sites I've ever gone to. VG Chartz (obviously), Gamespot, Gametrailers, N4G (especially this site), 1up.com and much, much more. I see them off consoles as well in gaming stores like Gamestop and EB, and on Youtube constantly throwing it out the PS3's "superiority" to everyone and everything that they can catch the attention of. Fanboyism is in no way equal between the PS3 vs the 360 and the Wii. The Wii mainly has casuals and the 360 usually has the avid gamers who spend more of their free time gaming. PS3 owners own console forums,  period. How many times have you heard devs responding publicly to rabid PS3 fanatics and not to Xbox 360 and Wii consumers on the net? I would say a hell of a lot.

Whoops, I meant to say 'Work harder to make it popular'.

In any event, I agree, I like these forums because there isn't an overwhelming love (or hatred against) one type of console over another.  But many other forums have that.  As well as many other sites.  Including review sites.  And this generation, it doesn't seem to be so much people rallying towards a specific system as much as just against the Wii to 'support' the 'HD' systems.

My 2 cent:

First:

Psychological reflex of consistence. People buyed the ps3. Ps3 performed bad. Poeple have to tell themself they made the right choice b/c of the consistence. People post on the Internetz. (This is nothing bad this is important for surviving our society.)

Second:

People with PS3s feel "small" b/c of the smaller base. They think they get no attention and nobody hears them so they speak louder/more to get attention and appear "bigger". (This is nothing bad, it's important for pople to break stereptypes and survive in our society. Especialy to show the support the ps3 gets yada yada yada.)

i think so. last year i played alot and went on the internet maybe once a week

now i go every day cause i dont have any games to play. this years xbox 360 line up isnt strong im just hoping forza 3 changes it.
