But back to the article. It's a poorly written article to be sure. As everyone in their right mind agrees Wii will be sold out, that leaves predictions between PS3 and 360. I just can't see how PS3, with a significantly more expensive price and smaller lineup of games, is going to outsell the 360. It doesn't make any sense at all to say that. While the quality of upcoming PS3 games is debatable, it does not have a heavy hitter a la MGS4 or FFXIII to sell consoles. 360 has Halo 3 and a much bigger library of games, including most of the games available on PS3, and is cheaper. What are more people going to choose PS3 for, Blu-Ray? Don't make me laugh.

Very intelligent reply .So ,the X360 has as exclusive for fall a game that appeared at september and the Wii has Mario .This is quite common with Wii and 360 fanboys ,or just antisony fanboys .You name them 20 games and they always respond the same game .

Example .Two guys speaking about PS3 and Wii lineups

Guy 1 -PS3 will have Ratchet and Clank

Guy 2 -Yes ,but the Wii will have Mario Galaxy !

G1-Yeah ,great game .But PS3 will have as well Uncharted .

G2-Yeah ,but Mario Galaxy will sell better ..

G1.No doubt ,but those are two different genres and its better for the user to have two good games and not only one ...

C: The Wii also has Battalion Wars 2, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Lego Star Wars (the lightsaber aspect is a big draw for many people), RE: Umbrella Chronicles, Link's Crossbow Training, Mario/Sonic Olympics, No More Heroes and Wii Fit (for Japan), Zack & Wiki, and Trauma Center: New Blood.

@ssj12, flagship's post was in direct response to the suggestion that someone who can't find a Wii for $249 would say "oh well" and plunk down $399 on a PS3.  Something I don't see happening.

@Diomedes. I was going to reply to your incredibly long and useless post but blaydcor (and to a lesser extent Entroper and carlos710) has pointed out exactly what I would have said. You have completely failed to rebut my point (in that SMG and Halo 3 will both sell more than all 2007 PS3 exclusives put together) and of course failed to notice that the Wii and Xbox360 actually have a very large list of holiday exclusives even without these two mega-hits.

Of course, no matter what I say, you're just going to spew shit again so I'll just wait and let the holiday sales speak for themselves (then wait for "ZOMG PS3 UNDERTRACKED IN SPAIN! EVERYONE IN SPAIN HAS ONE!! PS3 SOLD 3 MILLION MORE THAN VGCHARTZ SAYS BECAUSE OF SPAIN!!!")

Wrong.

Not all those Wii games will sell well. Some are bound to flop like Zack & Wiki or No More Heroes or Mario/Sonic Olympics.

And some of those PS3 games (exclusive or multiplatform) will outsell those Wii games you listed.

And mario galaxy will outsell everything on the ps3. And most ps3 games have floped, no matter if they were bad or good, exclusive or not. (heavenly sword, lair, ninja gaiden, etc)

Well thats strange. Kotaku thinks PS3 has the best lineup and I do too. :) If you don't count the previous amazing 360 games (Bioshock, Gears, Halo3), then the PS3 does indeed have the best holiday lineup.
