I'd like to see Fawful swoop in and kill steal the final boss.
its called the koopa clown car,people.
or maybe all the koopaling will fuse together and become a giant turtle/dinosaur/robot, in which bowser will enter and smash all mushroom kingdom, and a new item will make an appearance..the super mega giant mushroom, and when mario eats it, he transforms into an armored giant to face his nemesis......
or it could be just bowser smashing some bricks like in SMB3

You fight bowser like in SMB1, then you trip and hit your head and fight wart in a dream like SMB2.
the final stage will have you fight all thebowser jr koopa kids again by entering 8 doors, when you defeat all eight a ninth door will appear revealing Bowser. Bowser will shift into three different forms.
But then there will be another twist where a final stage will appear and the final boss for that will be the true form of bowser ^^

First of all mushroom kingdom have changed dramatically. Luigi have been eating too many mushrooms and he has grown into gigantic measures. Luigi has also displaced bowser and he rules koopa now. Mario has to rescue bowser and defeat luigi.
