I haven't seen anything about this posted so in case it's already been, I'm sory.
On a recent (well, 4 days old :P) interview, Miyamoto said "I'm not supposed to talk about it, but the final boss in the game is something that will feel fresh and new, but will definitely feel like a parody of a previous game.".
Now, looking at the scans that were revealed not too long ago either, we can see Bowser Jr riding Bowser's clown-like... thing... from Super Mario World.
Since the game is said to have 8 worlds, and with 7 koopa kids and Bowser Jr in, I initially guessed Bowser Jr would be a mini boss for world 8, before actually facing Bowser. But the above mentioned quotation and scans made it sound like Bowser Jr would be the final boss, as it would fit perfectly.
As much as that seems to make sense to me, I don't really think it's right. Maybe the last boss will be a fight against both Bowser and Bowser Jr, just like in NSMB, in wich Jr will be riding that, well, thing?
Well, my point in posting this was, does anyone think Bowser could actually be out of the final fight in favor of Jr? And just how much would you hate it if it was the case?
