9.7 / 10.

Much better the second time through when you aren't blinded with too much hype expecting the best game ever created.

It was Better than Wind Waker, better dungeons, more dungeons, better bosses, better items, bigger.

The only problem I have is that the world was a little to big, and not much to fill it up like in previous games.

This game definitely desderves a 9/10 STILL MY FAV WII GAME!!!!...the only reason it didnt a 10 was that it was easy and felt alittle to much like OOT especially commin from WW a pretty big difference, but i had enough to separate the too...damn I love this game ---EDIT we can do points????...9.5

9.5

Great game with a nice lengthy story, I enjoyed some of the wolf levels, nice puzzles, great bosses, nice controls. But there were some annoying moments, such as collecting the bugs.

The lowest I can objectively rank a game is 7, unless it falls in the Big Rigs quality kind of game, but I've seen your LBP response and you actually gave a detailed and objective reason for it.

Well I think the true 'average' rating for a game is a 5. I think Leo-J posted this in the LBP thread, but in this ranking game, we are told that a 7 must be an average. In that context, I think rating it a 5 without saying shit is just dishonest.

True, and 5 should be held as the True average, I believe that would be a better parameter than considering 7 as the average. But since that's the parameter of this ranking game, as you said, rating it lower without explaining your reasoning behind it is not honest at all. I guess it's hard for most people to keep objectivity when it comes to rating games, especially if you have some gripes about that game, but in the end, it will all come down to personal preference. Hell, one of my most beloved games of all time, Granstream Saga is at 73% average in GameRankings, yet it's one of the best i've ever played ;)

I'm just going about how almost every reviewer rates games.  Almost every single reviewer has 6-7 as average.

When you go to metacritic or gamerankings you would be hard pressed to find a game thats at 50% that is actually average.  Most games that are 50% are bad games.  There's always exceptions, but generally 50 is a plain out bad game.

WTF on a 1-10 scale...5 and down is bad..not average... 6=mediocre , 7= average 8 =great( above average) 9= Xxcellent 10= superb

In that respect, I agree with you.

@Yo_John117

I'm not against your system, as I said on the LBP thread, I think you have a very good system going on, and yeah, a 50% game normally is trully a very bad game, that's why I consider scoring any game lower than 7 can only be done if the game wanders into Big Rigs territory, IMO.

@Xxain

On a true 1-10 scale, A.K.A on a school grading system, 5 is considered average and it's enough for you to pass a test or a course. But when it comes to the entertainement business I agree the scale shifts slightly, since the quality is taken in the highest regard, and in that high regard, a 7 can be considered as being "Average" between mediocre Quality and Good Quality.
