I know strenght allows you to carry more items but i have pretty high stats in strenght and when i try to equip the enclave armor its keeps telling me that i lack training in Heavy armor.... so im wondering if there is an NPC or something that trains you for it....

SPOILERS!!!!

The Brotherhood of steel base, just about anyone there can point you to the person that can train you. When I first got there I know these guys could teach my how to wear it since they all run around in it. I also believe one of the main characters even mentions it during a MQ conversation.

yep here: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/The_Citadel

If you follow the main quest you will get there eventually. But it's one of the last missions....

well any way good luck, and if you want great armor that is not power, but is still pretty good

combat armor is good armor

increase your repair skill and keep adding other lesser combat armor ie: say damaged combat armor to a set your character is wearing and increase its DR. that way you can keep your armor at high DR. with out paying to have it repaired, this works for any type of armor so have fun.

I AM BOLO

100% lover "nothing else matter's" after that...

ps:

Proud psOne/2/3/p owner.  I survived Aplcalyps3 and all I got was this lousy Signature.

Strength lets you carry more equipment. You'll need strength for heavy equipment and get the heavy back (or whatever its called) perk at about level 6 or 8 which gives you 50 more pounds of carrying capacity.

I'll do a signature later

I don't get why people say you NEED STR to be honest, I mean, I've got 10 INT and AGI, and guess what my STR is... 1

I've never put it up, and never will do...

You see, if you have a follower with you, they can carry items for you anyway, so it makes life alot easier... or so I'm told, I mean, I don't even need them, all I take out with me is my Armoured Vault 101 armour (+5 Small Guns), Hunting Rifle with ammo, lots and lots of ammo... and my Stimpacks, Med-X, Radaway, and so on...

Yeah, I know I travel light, like... REALLY light, but when you've got a Hunting Rifle with 37 Damage (The average is what... like, lower than 20 or something, around 12 ?) you don't need much armour at all, and it also means I'm pretty darn rich, since the only thing I buy is Stimpacks and ammo, I find everything else (If I'm lucky I'll find both of them too, lol), but say, for example, I find a Laser Rifle, that sells for 400 bottlecaps, so I trade it for 10 Stimpacks and 50 bullets, lol...

Aaaaanyways, don't let me get carried away, cause I will !

But about halfway into the story, you'll meet up with the Brotherhood in the Citadel, and you can ask their leader to grant you permission to learn "Power armour", which allows you to wear pretty much every armour on the game. Once you've talked to him, you run to the barracks and talk to the trainer, and he does it for free (Gives you the skill)... If you go into laboratory and into the armoury, there's a piece of Brotherhood armour on a table (Minus the helmet), and the woman in the room (A member of the brotherhood) can join you if you ask her, lol...

So yeah. That.
