Yeah really. Prototype was one of the worst games this year.

-the game is too long and there are little variations, gets repetitive after a while
-gore is overused, which killed some scares for me.

Pros:
+ Brilliant atmosphere, reminds me a lot of my favourite horror movie of all time, Event Horizon
+ Very good implementation of dismemberment mechanics, gave you lots of various strategies to defeat the enemies
+ Spectacular weapons, from the Line Cutter to the Plasma Rifle
+ Outdoor battles are one of the best scenes i've ever seen in a game, the lack of sound is a trully horrifying sensation
+ The best survival horror experience since Enemy Zero

Cons:
- A bit repetitive on some parts due to the layout of the Nakamura
- Enemies were too easy, except the Brute and the Final Boss

great game. me and the girlfriend got through it in about 6 hours and now going to do it again on hard wasnt really expecting to much from it but we had a few jumpy moments. right review.
