1) Tags are determined by the games you 'own' in your profile - they are sorted from left to right, top to bottom in order of most games

2) If you don't like the feature, you can go to 'edit profile' under the 'basic info' tab and check the 'Hide Console Tags in Forums' checkbox. Checking this will not only hide your tags, but will prevent ALL tags from displaying in the forums.

I own dozens. And besides, I don't need console tags to show the kind of person I am.

Only if I can have little badges for Game Boy, Play It Loud! Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Pocket mark 2, Game Boy Light, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Micro, DS, and DS Lite.

And to show I'm not a fanboy, I can put my PS1 badge on, even though I'll never admit which game I have for it.
