Sorry, but there is no way on Earth that Mass Effect is not number 1. Lost Odyssey behind WKC and Folklore as well? Hmmm. Poor list. No TOV either. Massive fail on this list.

considering that WKC is on the list, don't you think it's likely that this site played the game as an import months ago?

No possibility. There is no way Demon's Souls is good enough.

I have no qualms over Demons Souls. I'm calling it like it is. Demon's Souls prompted the list to be made. I don't generally approve of any list that revolves around a recently released game because I think every game needs to settle in for a while to judge it's longevity.

I just don't see why even fanboys would create a new article with the top 10 RPGs just to put Demon's Souls high on the list.

Spend 10 minutes on the site, or just read my other posts about the site's content, and it'll make sense to you. There's nary an article, feature or editorial on that site that doesn't end positively for Sony so long as they're under consideration. Why they even cover half the platforms they claim to cover is beyond me.

Ok, I agree with you. There is a comment from someone on there that DS games are not included because they are not real games.

For once a good list. I don't know anything about folklore though..

Oblivion is above Fallout 3 because almost everything from F3 is derived from Oblivion. Many things of course made F3 better but they went with what started it all this gen. It was a great start too.

While that makese sense in theory.  I don't think it does in practice... and here's why.  Almost everything from oblivion is derived from Morrowind.  Even more so then Fallout 3 to Oblivion... etc.

So i don't think it deserves points for being first... well in more legimate lists.

I actually hated Eternal Sonata, and I still think it's one of my least favorite games I've ever bought. Maybe it's just me. :P

Seriously? That game is definately in my top 3 360 games.

Zen isn't the only one. I own ES much to my regret. The game looked good and the battle system was fun. However the story, characters, and ending were absolutely terrible. Not mention it was short, well given my feelings on the game that would be a good thing, and it's linear even by JRPG standards. That stated, Oblivion is one of my biggest disappointment of this generation. Oblivion was just plain boring. I liked Morrowind, but Oblivion just didn't do it for me.

Yup nothing wrong with that, but it's because they were looking at this gen I suppose. It's only if one feels that F3 should be higher than Oblivion, then what I said would apply. Otherwise, give the better game preference.
