Way to screw around with my quote leo-j. I said GT does not look SUBSTANTIALLY better than FM2. And i'm right, it doesn't. GT looks very pretty, but it is not leaps and bounds ahead of FM2. If the PS3 was nearly as powerful as Sony says it is then GT, a first party game, would look far and away better than the Microsoft exclusive equivalent. But it's time to be honest with yourself leo. The PS3 is more powerful than the 360, but the difference is only marginal and massive amounts of the PS3's power are extremely difficult, if not impossible to harness for gaming purposes.

No shooter on the 360 looks nearly as good as killzone 2, but farcry 2.

No game looks as good as gran turismo 5, gameplay wise it IS leaps and bounds ahead of FM2.

Heavenly sword looks better than ANY action game on the xbox 360.

that is all I have to say...

Leo, whens the last time anyone tried to release a game that was so graphic based besides gears? I cant think of any, and ill tell you right now, gears of war two is gonna look great.

It is NOT leaps above, im still laughing about your coment "GT 5 cars are more realistic then real cars" LOL

Yes it may be, but because of how great it was, 6 hours of length? you got to be joking

all i got to say...

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

The lighting in those pics is terrible making it hard to compare.
Heres some better comparison pics in which the differences become very apparent:

The original post was just dumb. Some guy takes pictures of his tv...are you kidding me?

The post from Dallinor, however, shows just how much of a difference there is, and it's a lot.

indeed it does, wish we could compare with better lighting though, would make forza look a little better

(GT if it wasnt shinning would still be better, but the lighting on it makes it look ALOT better)

This could actually be true if you are loooking at pictures as the cars on GT are a lot more shiny and it looks like you are right there, although of course it is not true

add me

They both look good to me, i would say the one on the left (GT5) only looks slightly better because the camera is in a much better position, however on the pics dalinor just posted GT5 definately looks better.

Indeed, i think what makes it looks alot better, is the lighting, its gorgous on the GT 5 cars, but even without that, it definitly looks better. But it doesnt blow forza out of the water, not at all

GT has a better dynamic lighting system and in the first set of pics Dallinor posted, the texture of the racetrack exceeds Forza's. Also, the GT shots look more crisp and better put together. Does FM2 run in 1080p?

Dallinor's pictures show GT5 to be quite a bit better looking than Forza 2.

The only problem seems to be the GT5 shadows.  Shadows in Forza look like real shadows, darker yet still visible.  GT5's shadows look like black holes.  Look at Dallinor's first image to see what I mean.  I saw it in the comparison pictures in the link but thought it might just be the quality of the picture, now it seems like it's the way GT5 makes them.
