@Montana - I guess we disagree on this one, it's a matter of taste I suppose.

But if the game had the name "Final Fantasy" it would be above 85 on metacritic right now.

What you are saying is complete bs. And here is the proof: http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ps2/dirgeofcerberusfinalfantasy7?q=final%20fantasy%20vii

On-topic: The game is nearly finished, but still not announced? I predict another shitty DS game that will launch with no marketing and flop hard. Just like the last 3 games from Sakaguchi did.

Now try to imagine the rating of the game without the "Final Fantasy" part

Uhhh....Rei....which part of "JRPG" did you take for "Action Adventure"? I said if Lost Odyssey had the name Final Fantasy in it it would be above 85 on metacritic right now. This doesn't mean you can put Final Fantasy in the name of a game like Haze and expect it to be rated higher. We are not even talking about Square's side projects, remakes or anything like that. The discussion was strictly about JRPG's. Even still, there are obviousley going to be exceptions to the rule. JRPG's are underrated unless they have Final Fantasy in the name. The only exception to the rule is Persona. I'm sorry, but critics never give JRPG's the score they deserve.

If its LO2 then 360. If not the multiplat 360/ps3.

If it's Lost Odyssey 2 I will jizz in my pants.

I'd like to see a Lost Odyssey 2; I'm enjoying the first one quite a bit right now.

Maybe wii, choosing to release on 360 has been quite the sales failure of a decision.

Off the top of my head Lost Odyssey is still the highest selling HD JRPG so...

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Wait... MS owns the Blue Dragon name?
Interesting since there was a DS spin off.

It's just that simple.

I'm betting either 360 or DS. Most likely DS. They need to make up all that lost money on their past endeavors.

Also, didn't they say they were working on Blue Dragon 2?

Six upcoming games you should look into:

Two DS spin offs actually.

They've also let Rare make a Viva Pinata game for the DS, so I'm assuming they really don't view handhelds as competition.
