Fifa is getting better and better with every release, while PES stays just as "meh" every year. The reviews reflect this, the sales reflect this. I don't really see why many people would choose Pro Evo unless they still wish it was the same series it was during the PS2 years.

Ahh whatever, it's personal choice. But the Fifa series is just better now.

Ok, mister reflector. Reflect on this:

FIFA HAVE LICENSE FOR ALL THE TEAMS AND PLAYERS. PES DONT. PEOPLE CHOOSE FIFA BECUASE THEY CAN PLAY A LICENSED RONALDO. YOU CAN NEVER MAKE A REAL-LIFE TACTIC FOR YOUR TEAM IN FIFA, BUT IN PES IT`S POSSIBLE BECAUSE IT`S MORE ADVANCED, AND STOP TRYING TO MAKE REVIEWS AND SALES DEFINE WHAT GAME IS BEST. JUST LOOK AT THE LITTLE FELLOW FROM USA THAT REVIEWED DEMON`S SOUL`S 60/100 BECAUSE IT WAS TOO HARD???!!. FIFA IS EASY. PES IS HARDCORE. JUST ASK PEOPLE THAT GREW UP WITH SOCCER LIKE ME.

PS: I USE CAPS WHENEVER I WANT. I HAVE THE LIBERTY OF SPEECH TO DO THAT.

AMEN

So the Fifa series has a sales gap of millions because people want to play as Ronaldo? Do you really believe that, or do you just use that as an excuse for Fifa pulling ahead? Reviews aren't always spot on, but when you have the humongous gap in reviews that the Fifa and Pro Evo series have, you have to wonder. One guy giving an average score for Demon's Souls doesn't discredit all reviews, especially when the game has received exceptional reviews from the majority of reviewers. I don't care whether a game is "easy" or "hardcore," and neither do the vast majority of people. I'd rather play a really great easy game than a "meh" hardcore game any day. And do you really think that you're so special because you grew up with soccer? Millions of people have grown up with the sport, and they seem to be picking the Fifa series these days (going back to my original point about sales). Now, sales don't always indicate quality, but they often do in sports games (you see this in the superior sales of the NHL, NBA 2K, and Fifa series). Oh wait, so the personal opinions of millions of people don't matter, but your opinions do? Just making sure. And by the way, I have nothing against you using only caps. Just makes you look like a rambling fanboy.

Thanks for a long answer, but you haven`t given me one argument that fifa is better. Humongous? There`s a man in my country saying: "The majority never have right." But an "everyday" person like you would never understand.

Learn to rotate fifa fanboy.

You`re out of this cup.

I grew up with soccer like you, hell, my whole country revolves around soccer. My favourite team is FCPorto and I support them to death.
I've loved PES since the SNES ISS days, and to me it has always been the best soccer game, until PES 09.

But FIFA 2010 has taken it another step further. You call it easy? Have you played it yet? It's the most complete football game ever, and the most realistic one too. As I said, I'll get PES too, for my PC, and will give a better analysis of the game then, but so far, FIFA 2010 has given me the best football experience i've ever had.

Oh by the way, if you want to doubt my word, I've participated in most PES tourneys in my country since the PES 5 days. If you want, we'll fire up PES 09 and play a match ;)

Why not try to argument with technical soccer aspects than "fifa is better and complete" bollocks.

what happened to this thread? i thought we were going to be civil.. too much anger around here.

This year it is PES>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>FIFA

Dont agree with me try the DEMO's

I downloaded both demos and me an the lads were bashing the, to see which one is better. We spent some time on PES. then tried out FIFA. then went straight back to PES and have not looked back.

Gameplay

PES>>>>>>FIFA. sorry i just hate the stupid floating ball and the stupid AI

Graphics

PES>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>FIFA.

Yh the difference is that big. And ermi cant say for the licences because i only played the demo but i suppose fifa will have the better licences as it does every year

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

FIFA pwns PES yet again.
I'm a huge PES fan, but PES2008, PES2009 and PES2010 are just horribly mediocre in comparison to the old PES games and to the new FIFA games.

Ok, technical, here it goes:

Comparing FIFA the game to PES the demo:

- The animations are more fluid on FIFA, when you rotate the players weaker foot to gain leverage for placed shots, you can feel the actual weight of the player and the impact of defenses on your player is also felt. In PES it's the same, whether you're player is the weak framed Messi or the strong built Gerrard.

- The ball has more complete physics and it's actually affected by player duels instead of having weird kinetics as it had on the PES demo. I've seen some 1 vs 1 confrontations were my player rolled the ball along his calf to the outside of his better foot while the defense intercepted it with the inside of his better foot. The ball gained a left roll effect due to the impact of both players feet on it, just like it would in real life. On PES i haven't seen such a detailed situation.

- There are actual performance differences between the most talented players and regular players. Messi has the shortest ball control on the whole game, just like in real life, while Ronaldo has a larger ball control but tighter feint abilities. On PES, they both control the same, that's going by PES 09, because in the PES 10 demo, Ronaldo isn't included. As I said, i'll give a better review of the game once i get it for PC, that's why I said FIFA gave me the best football experience so far, and I put emphasis on the so far part.

Current PC Build

CPU - i7 8700K 3.7 GHz (4.7 GHz turbo) 6 cores OC'd to 5.2 GHz with Watercooling (Hydro Series H110i) | MB - Gigabyte Z370 HD3P ATX | Gigabyte GTX 1080ti Gaming OC BLACK 11G (1657 MHz Boost Core / 11010 MHz Memory) | RAM - Corsair DIMM 32GB DDR4, 2400 MHz | PSU - Corsair CX650M (80+ Bronze) 650W | Audio - Asus Essence STX II 7.1 | Monitor - Samsung U28E590D 4K UHD, Freesync, 1 ms, 60 Hz, 28"

the argument is simple, there's two soccer games. some like the game play of PES some like the play of FIFA. buy your favorite and have fun.

i wish we could have the same argument on two different NFL game's

Yep, i'm a girl

FIFA if you want a football(soccer) game.

PES if you want a bad arcade game with football paint on it.
