i doubt it will come for PS3. M$ probably managed to snag an exclusive deal even with EA publishing the game

Long Live SHIO!

I don't really see how the game would even work on th ePS3. It's intrinsically linked to your save from the first game. I mean, obviously there will be a default opening for people who haven't played the first one, but a PS3 version would be intrinsically gimped unless they released the first game on there, too.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

There were similar denials about Bioshock and FF13. I don't care either way, day one purchase for me (Jan 29th!).

It's a timed exclusive. They're never going to say right off the bat that it's coming out on the other system later. It's Business 101. They want everyone to go out and buy it on the 360. Then add some extra features and content to the PS3 version, and possibly have ppl who previously owned the game on the 360 to buy the game again for the bonus features. That's how you maximize profit.

That is the same strategy that's used on almost every timed-exclusive game - ToV, Lost Planet, Eternal Sonata, Star Ocean 4, to name a few.

You forgot bioshock.

Exactly. That may work for the JRPGs, but considering the prequel is not on the PS3, and it wouldn't be coming out at the same time as the other versions, the game wouldn't do that well at all.

THQ nevered released saint row on the ps3 but they did for saint row 2.So it could be the same thing here.

I think the guy just wanted some fame so he let out a little misinformation to confuse the fanboys. Either that or he just wanted to say it in a sarcastic fashion to mock the PS3 fanboys and the quote was taken the wrong way.

Yep, only fanboys would take non-denials and PS3 listings to mean ME2 may make its way to PS3 eventually.

Quick, someone list 5 games that were ported after originally being announced as exclusive.  Easy peasy.

Nope, not MGS4 though!  ME2?  Time will tell.

I actually think this just confirmed a PS3 port is on the way...

I was just offering an equally likely explanation. Catch ya laters!

Good I fuckin hate it when Exclusives become Multiplat. Whatever happened to Console Identities? Last Gen it was, The PS2: Single Player Experience, JRPGs, Xbox: Online Experience, WRPGs, Gamecube: Party Experience

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
