I didn't even bothered commenting that idiotic phrase in the FF thread, people who are like that will continue to be no matter what you tell them.

I hope you're right, but I think it will be FFXII all over again, people will be divided in those who absolutely loved the game and those who absolutely hated the game, and then we will hear those people complain and complain and call us, who loved the game, not a FF fan and something worse

I think that from February 2010 and forward we will have the biggest controversial threads in a long while, with the release of GoW, GT5, FF13, Bioshock 2 and more.

In recent weeks, the PS3 has been selling well AND Uncharted 2 has released. These two occurences have given PS3 fanboys a sense of empowerment the likes of which the world has never seen.

-in New York City: A PS3 fanboy foils a bank robbery with nothing more than a pencil and a smile.
-in Spain: A PS3 fanboy stops a rampaging bull. He rips the bull's left horn off.
-in France: A PS3 fanboy leaves the house without wearing a beret, striped shirt, OR carrying a loaf of oversized French bread.

In a few weeks, this will pass. For now, just weather the storm. There will be balance to The Force, soon enough.

Now why call people fanboys? I know that pretty much your reply was sarcasm and a big joke, but it's that kind of attitude that sometimes leaves to a thread derailing completely. Hell, I've even seen people getting banned for much less.

Thats because you are in the wrong threads j-man. quality is out there you just have to look through a lot of trash to get there.

I am afraid of that......I will even fear being on Vg Chartz after FF13's release.....many people here who claim to be fans of it will surely destroy FF13, even if it was really good!

When FF13 releases I won't even reply on the threads, I will voice my opinion to the people on my friends list, to avoid starting a serious sh*tstorm. It will depend on the level of civility of the people on the threads in fact, but if the TGS trailer thread or the most common FF threads are something to go by, then those threads will be full of hatred

actually the TGS 09 trailer thread I had made, got little to no negativity....lol

so I was quite happy.

But that thread was rare....otherwise they get hate.

I was referring to the whole "Teen melodrama" comment ;) Sorry, may have mixed up threads xD. You're right, your TGS thread was actually nice, just went back to check it, but as you say it's a rare occurrence.

Hopefully FF13 will convert the non-believers, one can hope right? ;)

Flamebait threads always existed.
Right now it looks worse than usual due to the holy war amongst fans of various console racers for who'll take 2nd place, quality and realism-wise, behind the best PC racers.
