Noooeeee! MGS4 ARE T3H ULTIMATE GAME IT NEEDS TO 3ND TH4T W4Y!!!1111111

I am not only upset about Rising,I don't care if they make a game for another platform but please give it a gap,like if they produce Rising in 2010.I have no problem with it.But they will also be releasing Peace walker next year and they are just spoiling the story.

MGS has one of the best stories if not the best and they are expanding it like a chewing gum.If you have played MGS,only then would you understand why do i care so much.

As long as Kojima works on the games, he won't let them be terrible :P.
I for one am glad they have expanded their franchise a bit, some may think the ACID card game on the PSP is milking, but it is one of my favorite games on the PSP. I haven't played ACID 2 but the game mechanics are improved and it has a different art style so I think it deserved to be made.

Basically, if they "milk" the franchise by making a bunch of different games then they have a chance of being great games to add to the franchise.

just do some searching before you post.Till the time Crash Bandicoot was owned by Sony,it was considered one of the best franchise.Once they sold the IP,other companies started milking it and the franchise went to hell

I thought that Kojima said Peacewalker is his last MGS title, he will be handing the series to another producer / director. Not even Metal Gear Solid: Rising is being directed by Kojima himself (he is still a producer, which should mean quality check).

I can't blame him, it must be really tiring to work on something for 20 years without a break. They should've ended Metal Gear Solid series and start Metal Gear SOMETHING series, to distinguish Kojima-sans involvement. He created the universe and basicaly everything in it. But the serie should get a revamp and new start, in new universe, with new characters, just let the action and style the same and come with a new story.

Snake I have to respectfully say you're out of your mind. They aren't ruining anything with this phrancheyez (u see wut I did dere?), every MGS game I've ever played is pure win. No complaints about a single sequence in any of them. I don't care if they release a new one every 3 months..as long as they're up to the quality that MGS games always release at, I'd buy all of them cuz I know they're going to be amazing.

When they release a garbage MGS or when the Story takes him to candy land or if Master Chief comes down for some tea, then yes - I would agree with you. Until then, your complaints are completely unfounded.

I am not complaining about any of the previous games,just worrying about the future cause one day or the other the franchise will end and if they keep milking it,then when it ends it will be garbage.I want it to end when its great like with MGS4

Before telling me to learn to read,you should learn to understand what the other person is saying.

Yeah if you do it right then the games will be good but still the quality and repect of the franchise in people's mind goes down.For example,take Mario and Halo.Both are super franchises and sell well game after game but Mario is no way near what it was 20 years ago cause it got milked 250 times.Abt Halo,all its games are great .ODST was a great game in quality according to an expansion but people were criticizing and not because its price only,other thing too.It never really was as big as its prequels and because of this it has some haters now.

I want MGS to remain what it is today when people who don't even own a PS3 respect it
