Well, i really would like the end of SE support to ps2 to end just like it begun, EPIC. Anyway, they gave ps2 it last Monster Hit(FFXII), and will give epic support to current consoles(i admit support to 360 has been very so-so...).

Eh. I didn't play my PS2 as much as my GCN so it doesn't really bother me too much.

Just to correct a little something in the OP, Final Fantasy X was not the first game Square published on the PS2. the following games came out before it:

Driving Emotion Type-S
The Bouncer
All-Star Pro Wrestling
