No racism intended, but It was to my intention that people see us floridians as texans aka hillbillies? How do you guys see floridians

Well, I see Florida as more of a Northish state, the actual peninsula though, northern Florida is the southern part. Like in the way of thinking, I mean.

So no, Florida is not the same as Texas...

Texans are branded as the gun nuts and rednecks, not hillbillies.

The honor of the hillbilly title usually gets placed on Mississippi and Alabama.

As for Florida, the recount stigma still exists.

Florida isn't considered full of hillbillies. It's considered full of old people and stupid criminals.
