Your playing Uncharted 1, not 2, and it's freezing? You either have a) a bad disk, it's trying to read in more data maybe, try the disk on another ps3, b) your slim is bad. There's no reason why u1 would make it overheat, unless the it's drive. My first ps3 died after a week, just the bluray drive failed, and I returned it to target for a new one, no problems since. Consider yourself one of the unlucky 10% that bought a faulty electronic gizmo....

question to all of you it has frozen on, Have you updated to 3.01? its not mandatory so you may not have noticed this update, it was released not so long after firmware update 3.0 because uncharted 1 freezes where becoming more common.

i found Uncharted 2 & Demons Souls at store near my home at the beginning i picked Uncharted 2 but after that i changed my mind and picked Demons souls because i want a long game with leveling up system .. what a luck i have !? i think i will purchase Uncharted 2 after they solve the problem better stay away from it now.

Note this is happening with Uncharted 2 and yes I have updated to the newest firmware

there is still a problem even after the fimware update ??
