Yes I am proud of that set-up.
I have Dolby Surround 5.1 thank you very much and I don't find anything humorous about it.
In regards to your second post, I am 19 years old. I am not some "typical 14-15 year old".
That entire set-up was a lot of money over the course of the past two years.
The surround sound cost 90 dollars.
The HDTV cost 400 dollars.
The game consoles totalled around 400 dollars as well.
That's nearly 1000 dollars in equipment. Plus some component cables. That was another 25.
If I was to total everything together, games, equipment, accessories, we are looking at over 1500 dollars. And more than 60 percent I paid for. The other games were probably gifts or something.
So before you insult me, saying I have a crappy set-up, you should try reading the entire post.
It consisted of:
- my triumphant return to VGChartz
- how The Conduit sucks
- how The Orange Box is amazing
- my new set-up
