Whatever, JRPGs and WRPG's are to differant to compare and non of the games you compare to MGS are anything like it. But no they will not catch up.

what?

japanese games are the best, the amount of detail put into it's beyond any western game. (aside naughty dog and sony studios (which is japanese!).

just putting square enix FF, Tekken, GT, MSG and nintendo games you have the greatest game ever created in each gender.

the only game type japanese don't care about it's FPS.

and i played assasin creed and batman and they are no way close to MSG4, even if they get close in gameplay, story, music and the whole details are way better on MSG series.

MSG4 it's easy a 22hrs game.

Fallout 3, if you count multi-plat sales, is the best selling hd rpg. At over 4 million worldwide. I think Final Fantasy XIII will have no problem beating that number. What we do know is that FFXIII will win worldwide solely because of Japan, which is pretty much like cheating (lol) when you consider how poorly the wrpgs have been selling there.

O RLY? So, that's why FFXII was one of the highest reviewed Final Fantasy games.

Sad but tue. In the PS1 era, all my games were made in Japan. Now, most of them still are but it explains why I only have 14 ps3 games after owning the console for over 2 years

Sure Ninty stil sells the most software altogether but they certainly dont "own" all the genres burgrimar has listed.
