On Gamefront.de, there is an article that points to an interview that inside-games.jp had with Level 5 President Akira Hino.

Partway through the interview, this is said (the following is in Japanese):

―――Wiiもそろそろどうですか?

日野: Wiiは本当に面白いハードなので、近いうちに作りたいと思ってます。

Now, of course I have no idea what it says, but I put it through a translater, and basically the interviewer asked if they had any interest in the Wii, and Akira Hino said that the Nintendo Wii is a very interesting system and they want to make something on it soon.

Any native Japanese speakers can translate properly for us?

Well we got Y-koron but I haven't seen him in awhile I could probely transleted a few words if they were written in Latin letters

And Soriku what are you meaning with 'YES!!!!' we haven't confirmed anything yet

I just wish that most developers would jst stop saying "we are interested in the wii" or " we'd like to make something in the future, because I find it fustrating. Stop dithering and get on the god damn train or you'll miss it.

A "Professor Layton & ...." title for the Wii would be a *perfect* match, and could take the DS series to an entirely new level.

As for other games - Level 5 are developing a very solid reputation indeed.

Congrats to the Wii....Cause Level-5 is an excellent developer. IMO on par with Square Enix. But thats good, we might see alot of RPG's from this developer for the Wii....WOOTWOOT!!
