Valkyria Chronicles. Even bought it like few months before getting a PS3.

Considering that I am buying the PS3 today, mainly for 1 game although kinda 2.
Demon's Souls and Way of the Samurai 3

To top it off, I don't plan on getting any other PS3 games except for Flower and a couple other PSN games for probably a year. Betcha these won't show up on this list of firsts, I like my unusual gaming tastes :)

I think I bought 3 games at launch when the PS3 came out in Europe (funny I can't remember what I bought)

But the first game I played on my PS3 was Resistance: FOM cause it had coop splitscreen. And that game still rocks.

I got Assasins Creed, COD4 and Fear 1 with my PS3, Hated FEAR, disliked AC but COD4 is my most played (non MMORPG) game ever

Call of Duty: World at War.

Resistance: Fall of Man and Genji: Days of the Blade. I also had Oblivion on pre-order but it never made launch date till much later.

Resistance: Fall of Man, i had a big library to buy because i don't have a 360 so all the multis were there, but i wanted to play a FPS to test the PS3 capabilities in that area (since all good FPSs i ever played were on PC and i was dissapointed at Killzone for the PS2), i was going to get Call of Duty 3 but then i found out Infinity Ward were not the devs, so i passed and got Resistance since it was Insomniac, one of my favorite US devs... For me it was an excellent choice, i still play with my friends as a chimera jejejejeje...

Resistance: FoM, Tiger Woods 07, Madden 07, Fight Night Round 3. All on launch day. Played Resistance: FoM first and fell in love
