Ueda, better artistic vision for me, and creator of two masterworks.

Kojima's no slouch either

An analogy would be Kubrick vs Spielberg: both technically amazing, both have created great films, one is more populist, balancing art and entertainment, the other is (EDIT - was, I still hate thinking about Kubrick in past tense) pretty much flat out focused on art as entertainment.

I'd always pick Kubrick over Spielberg though, so I guess Ueda's my Kubrick for videogames.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Hmm...this is hard.

I'll just say 10/10 for both of them.

Hideo Kojima is a genius when it comes to telling stories about real-world politics, conspiracy theories, etc. meshed with his own twists. Not to mention I love the gameplay of all his games.

Fumito Ueda is unrivaled artistically, and his games are unique.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
