Why the hell is everyone in love with Bardock? Hes just vegeta attitude with Goku body, big whoop, glad they gave me a new character, bardock SS = Goku SS.

He, a "low level" saiyan, single handedly took down Frieza's army in upper atmosphere of planet Vegata while being badly injured. Frieza ultimately wiped him, The planet Vegeta, and nearly all the Saiyan's out. Even though Bardock saw that this was going to happen in his vision, he decided to do his damnedest to stop Frieza anyway. If courage in the face of certain death doesn't make a character cool, what does?

Yeah bardock is bad ass but Vegteta is way better, his father (King Vegeta) made all saiyans become under Frieza,Vegeta never had a child hood because his father always pushed him to train and become stronger than him and so he could free the Saiyans from Frieza (thats why he is determined to become the strongest saiyan around), the fact that Vegeta is a Super Elite Prince is bad ass already, but then he teams up with goku and you see how weak Vegeta really is compared to Frieza.

Anyone wanna guess what Bardock power level was when he was fighting Frieza, Frieza power level was around 100,000 (Since his power level doesnt increase like a saiyan would. Im saying it was around 30,000 and if he was at full health 50,000.

Frieza destroyed the Saiyans because they were getting too strong.

Is anybody really complaining that Vegeta and Broly can go SS3 in this game? SERIOUSLY? You are not a real DBZ fan if you don't want characters to transform.

Heck, Yamcha is not a Saiyan but I would go nuts if he had a Super Saiyan form in a DBZ game. Krillin and Tien too.

Side-note: I think it is pretty messed up that despite selling 815,000 copies and outselling the most recent PS3/360 DBZ games, DBZ:Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on the Wii will not see the sequel. DBZ:BT3 came out in 2007 and the Wii hasn't seen another DBZ fighting game since, but rather, spin-offs that stunk.

I agree! Well made points.

This is coming from a DBZ fan:
I've tried a lot of the DBZ games. There have been improvements, depending on what game purchased, but I just feel they're all the same beat em up garbage.... only with new "BLAST / FIRE / EXTREME!!" titles added to them with new releases.

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

Budokai Tenkaichi is a fun series and this is the fourth entry in it. It is fun because it focuses more on spectacle than the fighting game series.

I prefered the regular Budokai series(Budokai 3 was awesome) as fighting games, but these tenkaichi like games recreate the series better.

Oh, and the latin opening was way better than the US one I saw when I was there.

I'm not a fan of overly complex technical fighters, so I've always preferred the Tenkaichi games to the Budokai games. I'm sorta disappointed with only 70 characters, but let's face it, I never used 70% of the Tenkaichi 3 cast, and all the characters I will use are in this game plus two new SSJ3s that I know I'll use a lot.

@nazatips

yeah i feel ya on that man, it would be nice to have more characters but who is really gonna use frieza guard? So many useless characters.

The demo is actually out guys, overall pretty impressed.

So guys hurry up and play the damn thing.
