If you don't like Gears 2: Go ahead, trade it in.

If you do like Gears 2: Finish it, play it till you're bored, maybe buy Uncharted 2 later, even if you don't want to trade it in at all.

Uncharted 2 is definitely worth owning but there's no need to trade in a game you like just to buy it...

Gears 2 firefights keep me sharp,while Uncharted 2 firefights are...well normal...seem ok,not that engaging as Gears 2.

Moder Warfare 2 will be great,an improvement from CoD 4 and has great multyplayer.

Speacking of mutiplayer,Gears 2 has co-op and great multiplayer,Horde mode is sweet. Uncharted 2 can`t mach that,but has it`s own unique feel,so...it`s your choice. Try to beat Gears 2 and then you`ll see...

Anyway on topic. Gears 2 is a great game but Uncharted 2 IS better. They are both in the top 10 games of this generation but since the multiplayer is better for U2 you should probly finish Gears 2 asap and trade it in for Uncharted 2.

you can like both, one of them or none of them.... but that doesnt mean that BOTH games are not EXCELLENT well made games, because they are....

Edit: Reason bringing up Gears 1 is because I have yet to play Gears 2. I enjoyed Gears 1 but I was blown away by the visuals in Uncharted 2 at some points. I didn't realize I was controlling him in the beginning because it looked so much like a cinematic.

Gears came out in 06, looked amazing for it's time like U2 does now. I was blown away by the visuals of Gears 1 three years ago.

Personally I think you should aim to keep Gears 2, complete the sp then get Uncharted 2, complete the sp and if you find yourself playing one on mp more than the other than trade in the other gajme for MW2.

Get uncharted 2 and Borderlands. Forget MW2.

In fact I would prefer Gears 2 other than MW2 if i had a 360.

thanks guys i live in canada...so no its not exactly a equal return lol i got gears 2 for $45 and uncharted right now is $59.99 most likely going to become $69.99 in a few weeks....but i decided to return gears 2......and buy it again for $19.99 at futureshop :P ya missed dat sale apparently......and i'll get both uncharted n modern warfare 2 in time....lol
