very good job OP

thats not galaxy :P its brawl...

@OP, excelent work! i wonder why no one remembered before to the same... That most certainly explains a lot of things. Could you please try with a diferent kind of graphic, istead of a linear correlation do a polinomial or logarithmic correlations, maybe it would give R closer to 1.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I had thought about doing something more in depth, like using a larger sample size, but wanted to see if there would be any interest before I spend more time on it.

you should have removed the outliers from your top 300 list.... there it seems you managed to get wii fit and wii play.... two badly reviewed games that skew the wii graph...

While you can make a case for removing outliers (if you can define them as such), this particular arguement does not hold much water.

While Wii Play is medicore (61%), Wii Fit's metascore (81%) is on par with de Blob and Klonoa.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

Well, no surprises here.

@Mike, your right, the games certainly aren't outliers based on their review scores, so it doesn't seem fair to exclude them.
