OT: Sympathies dude. Not a good time for problems to arise, just when one of the all time greats has landed. Lets hope it's just an inconsequential random freeze. Sorry but I only pray for things with a brain...oh wait T3h C3ll...I'lll have to think on this one.

if you want it to cool off faster you could hold the eject key while flipping the back switch on

Pray for my poor 40 gig (his name is Sparkie so you know who to tell God to look out for).  

This happened to me as well during the train gameplay as well. I didn't think much of it, my PS3 has frozen before so I did what I usually do, hold down the power button till it turns off.
