Break the Targets is still there, Board the Platforms was also missing in Melee and SSE had coop, that is enough to make it better than the adventure mode. And every other once-a-single player modes are now multiplayer.

Lol you're right, Break the Targets is still there. It's been too long since I've played Brawl, I'm forgetting things about it. Why do I feel like Brawl was missing something important to me?

And no, co-op didn't make SSE better. My girlfriend and I played it together and we both got bored of it.

No game is perfect, but for what you get, it's untouchable. There is more in this game than any 3 other games combined (and not even becoz of DLC....it's already in the game). Undoubtedly it's an improvement in every way over every Smash game to date (I'm not a fan of tripping though). I currently logged 285 hours, and I figure it will be 1,000 before I'm even close to being done with it.

As for SSE, it's much more fun when you aren't going at it alone (like the whole game actually), but it's worth the effort for the cut scenes alone.

I'd give it a 9.

The music alone warrants the purchase for me, it's great. :)
So are the controls, love 'em, and the roster of fighters is unsurpassed.
As far as local multiplayer games go, this is top-notch.

Too bad the online is so terribly terrible, sometimes.

Tons of new modes, great new characters and items, fantastic music, CO-OP MODE, it's Super Smash Brothers.

Online could certainly have been better (or I need a better wireless connection), single player experience is probably a 7.5 on its own, and I think the formula may be getting a little stale. Or, I just played too much Melee, and I've exhausted the whole fighting genera.
