Repost GTA IV wasn't supposed to be like GTA SA and I respect that even though I can agree with the fact that there were some cool that really should have been in GTA IV As for recycling, all of the GTA games have been the same for 12 years (sort of) and people still love it. Nintendo is clearly the top developer this generation. They have the top rated game in Mario Galaxy, and came about with entirely new genres, and redefined how people see videogames; not to mention released the top two selling console games of all time on top of the most widely distributed game ever, and the top 5 selling non-multi version handheld games of all time. On top of selling over 100 million software pieces.

I actually enjoyed GTA 4 a good bit but it's not one of my favorites.
I love how a number of people are attacking the list for being stupid (and it certainly is), and are then following the same logic used in the article, comparing individual developers to far larger development houses.
Nintendo > Naughty Dog. No shit. Nintendo is a collection of 10+ studios. Naughty Dog is a single studio. I could say that Sony Worldwide Studios > Retro, but I won't, because that would be idiotic.
Comparing Nintendo EAD Group 3 (Zelda), Naughty Dog, Kojima Productions, and Infinity Ward = ok!
Comparing Nintendo, Sony, Konami, and Activision = ok!
