At least the X360 has a chance to get somewhat close to PS3 sales. (likely 5-10 million in PS3's favor)

But Wii is slumping, it's trend is going down while HD consoles are up. PS360 will sell 150 million against Wii's 120 mill.

HD vs. Wii.

At the risk of sounding like an asshole, I often laugh at 360 vs. PS3 squabbles. This version has a slightly richer colour palette , that version is 600p while this one is 720p. Every minute detail of two identical twins is investigated so that one can be declared The Superior Version. I understand that there really are some crappy ports out there, but it just gets so ridiculous and so petty sometimes, I have to laugh.

Well Wii will completely dominate the HD consoles, but... it's not really Wii vs. HD. The graphics aren't the battle. In the future, HD gaming will replace SD gaming. Nintendo's next console will output HD graphics. It's not like the Wii's victory will kill HD gaming and we'll all play SD gaming forever.

I think of it more as a motion controls vs. traditional controls battle. Motion won. The entire industry is now playing catch up with Nintendo. And yeah, this was the more interesting battle to watch.

Wii won over HD Ps3 vs. 360 is more interesting who wina really won't matter though....

I agree with you & kowenicki points TOTALLY. I consider the Traditional -v- Motion controller battle like the HD-DVD -v- Blu-Ray format battle. Neither one being a bad option, but only one can be the "defacto" standard.

i don't care im sticking with SD for a few more years.

I'm most interested in the battle that involves cake at the end.
