This game looks really good, I was dissapointed with the score IGN gave it, but when there major complaint was not using IR for the bean menu, it seemed like they were being a little harsh. An 8.5 is a great score, and I will definitely be getting this game at some point.
Looking at it as a review, this one is better than the IGN review.

I'm interested. This is the kind of game that I'll be playing in front of my kid, and not feel guilty about it. I hope it does well. Solid 3rd party Wii games aren't as common as I'd like.
