Which company do you think would be most likely to enter the gaming industry?

IMO, it will be Apple.

They are masters at advertising, are a very well known brand and are rich(er then most other electronic companies)

I also think Toshiba might enter the race. They invented HD DVD, so they would use their format. Since they are a very

rich company as well, they could advertise alot.

Also, ACER is supposedly rumouring a game machine. I have not read much into that, so I wont comment. But I found a link:

It's already too crowded. I hope nobody else ever tries to join in the console war.

i doubt apple will make a console. they will probably just continue and expand their ipod touch/iphone as a games device.

somebody has to drop for new competitor...becuase this could cause a huge split in fanbases for games

NONE, unless one of the current great game makers fall. That would be a horrible day.

This industry will be moving in the right direction if Google decides to join.
