You're going to get hurt and betrayed someday. If you don't learn to forgive, you'll just be a drifter making and losing friends constantly. You'll still be getting hurt by the new friends you make, lose them, and have to find new ones.

Or you can be completly isolationist and be lonely forever. That way you can avoid being hurt by your friends, but if you can't take loneliness you'll be hurt by that.

I mean, a friend shouldn't be hurting you, but that's idealism. No friend is perfect. Become friend with people that don't want to hurt you, but when they finally hurt you, you have to learn to cope with it or you'll lose them. You can't hold onto grudges forever.
