When you get to the page, search for the AddOn called NoScript.. That is probably one of the BEST addons ever created by a person. What it does, is that on every website you visit, it disables the Javascript, which if you were to go to a harmful site that contained javascript, it would be able to acess your computer without you knowing, installing malware/spyware. NoScript disables the javascript or flash on the page, protecting you. And if you go to a site which you trust, there is a little button in the corner which you can "allow" the current website you are on to get full acess of the page.

NoScript saved me many times.

Nothing wrong with Vista - don't listen to haters who either never used it or used it in early months when it had inadequate driven support and on insufficient hardware.

But FF is simply better than IE- faster and has plenty of options for various flash and ad blockers and countless other plugins
